Over the past 2 years our Value Creation Committee (“VCC”) has been engaging with our portfolios companies to help them in many different ways. The VCC is comprised of some of our valuable members each assigned not more than 3 companies. The objectives of the VCC are to led post-investment oversight and activities such as networking, supporting and helping the business growth, advising on potential funding requirements. The VCC is now chaired by Nicolas Sibuet.


Nicolas is a global executive that has a strong network and relationships in Middle East, Asia, Africa, South America and Europe in the Oil & Gas industry with a particular focus on Business Development and Financing Activities. He has a wide range of strategic, financial and business development experience, managing equity, debt, IPO and merger and acquisition transactions.

Hatem Dowidar is Chief Executive Officer of Etisalat Group; one of the largest telecom operators in the MENA region. He sits on the boards of Etisalat subsidiaries in Morocco, Egypt and Pakistan. Prior
to joining Etisalat Group, Hatem was the Group Chief of Staff for Vodafone Group based in London, reporting to Vodafone Group CEO.

Mahmoud is the Head of Growth at one of the fastest growing startups in the region: Kitopi. He has over 10 years of experience managing growth teams
in the startup ecosystem having previously served
as the Chief Growth Officer of Uturn. Prior to that, he served as a Senior Director of Sports Entertainment at Intigral.

Michael Truschler is an entrepreneur and e-commerce guru, and an expert on setting up & growing businesses in the GCC. He is currently founder and CEO of Flexxpay, a fintech solution for the underbanked in MENA. Prior to Flexxpay, Michael was a co-founder of CitrussTV, the Middle East’s home shopping channel and one of the most instantly recognizable brands in the Arab World.

Mohammad has recently left his position at Google Play Apps & Games in MENA and Turkey to pursue his own venture. Prior to his role at Google, Mohammad was the CIO of Telly, a social video network, Founder of Sha-Sha Entertainment, and a Senior Consultant at Booz & Company.

Abdulla has served as a Leveraged Finance banker with Merrill Lynch London, as Co-founder of Tuareg Capital and manager of the $30m Libya Fund (private equity) and as Director of LAP GreenN (Africa mobile investments). Abdulla is a private investor, until very recently, a shareholder and director of Manor Racing Formula 1 Team and is an active angel investor.



Hachem is a managing partner at Palm Tree Ventures where he lead Middle-East expansion of disrupting start-ups, to support SmartCity/ SmartGov, through corporate/start-up open- innovation partnerships in data, transportation, and financial services, with a focus on AI, drones and blockchain technologies.



As a partner with Roland Berger, Andreas leads
the firm’s operations in Bahrain and heads the insurance practice in Middle East. Based on his professional experience, Andreas is very well versed in all aspects of strategy development and business planning. Moreover, he has an aptitude for finding practical and pragmatic solutions and tools for operational problems.



Simone is a Partner in PwC Middle East, and the Digital Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Resilience advisory lead for the region. After accumulating more than 10 years of Digital, CyberSecurity and Infrastructure experience in Western, Central and Eastern Europe, UK, US, Russia and Central Asia.
